Geographic Location and Topography

Sampaloc is bounded on the north by municipalities of Real and Mauban, Quezon, east by Mauban, South by Mauban and Lucban and west by Luisiana and Cavinti, Laguna. It is an inland municipality approximately 41 kilometers from the provincial capital, Lucena City and 148 kilometers from Metro Manila.

The poblacion of Sampaloc is located at the intersection of coordinates 14° 10' N and 121° 38' E longitude. The entire municipality lies between latitudes 14° 07' and 14° 16' N and longitudes 121° 35' and 121° 41' E.
